Why Foot Levelers Orthotics?
What are Stabilizing Orthotics?
Stabilizing Orthotics were made by a chiropractor to treat the body as a functional unit and give you the support you need. They support the 26 bones and over 100 muscles in each of your feet to protect your foundation. You can maintain your feet's 3-arched structure, the plantar vault, to balance the entire body with our orthotics.
Your 3-arched structure optimizes
your body by:
Giving strength
to support the weight of the entire body
Permitting
sufficient flexibility to accommodate changes in terrain
Providing
momentum for movement
Support for your Entire body:
Most orthotic companies only support
one arch. When only one arch is being supported the problem shifts to another
part of your body. Stabilizing Orthotics
support the three interconnected arches of your foot, the plantar vault. The
structural support for the entire body’s equilibrium is gained from your feet’s
plantar vault.
Specifically made for YOU!
Unlike generic, over-the-counter
orthotics, our Stabilizing Orthotics are individually designed for your unique
postural problems--not just problems with your feet. We believe that correcting
imbalances in your feet can properly align your spine and pelvis.
Our Stabilizing Orthotics offer more than just short-term symptom relief. They also promote whole-body wellness for your life. We can improve your overall health by supporting your foundation. The feet are the foundation of the body. They support you when you stand, walk, or run. Feet also help protect your spine, bones, and soft tissues from stress as you move. By stabilizing and balancing your feet, Foot Levelers orthotics enhance your body’s performance and efficiency, reduce pain, and contribute to your total body wellness. Our orthotics complement your healthcare professional’s treatment when you stand, walk, and live your life in balance.

Body Assessment:
The body assessment image shows how
imbalances in the feet can lead to knee rotation, pelvic tilt and shoulder
drop. These imbalances in the body can be caused by pronation and supination of
the foot. These instabilities can lead to
conditions such as plantar fascitis, knee pain, hip pain, back pain, and neck
pain. A properly aligned body will have
symmetrical feet, level knees, pelvis and shoulders. Wearing Stabilizing
Orthotics may help alleviate imbalances and conditions caused by those
imbalances.
The Comparison:
Be supported, the RIGHT way.
Most people think their foot only
has one arch, when there are actually three:
Inner arch
(Medial longitudinal arch)
Outer arch (Lateral
longitudinal arch)
Across the balls of the foot (Anterior transverse [metatarsal arch])
The three arches are interconnected to form the plantar vault. Our Stabilizing Orthotics support the foot bones and muscles, which maintains the structure of the plantar vault to balance the entire body. Over-the-counter orthotics support only one arch in your foot. When only one arch is being supported the problem shifts to another part of your body.
Understanding Your Feet:
If you are considering individually
designed Stabilizing Orthotics, Dr. Langille can perform a foot scan to
show you how imbalances in the feet can lead to problems in the knees, hips,
back and shoulders. The foot scan will show how Stabilizing Orthotics may help.
Following a foot scan, Dr. Langille will give you a report that will provide
you a Pronation/Stability Index, a Foot Assessment, and a Body Assessment.
Stabilizing Orthotics: Solution for Many Ailments:
Even
if your feet don’t hurt, they
may be contributing to overall postural imbalance. If pain or discomfort
occurs
in a specific area of the body-- anywhere from the feet to your neck ?
Individually designed orthotics may help bring long-term relief.
