Levator scapulae (shoulder and neck pain)
<----
Pain Referral Zone Translation: "Levator scapulae" means "lifter of the shoulderblade." It attaches to the sides of the vertetbrae in your neck and goes down to attach to the upper inner corner of your shoulderblade. Its job, as the name says, is to raise your shoulderblade. Trigger points in this muscle can cause pain in your neck, shoulder and upper back. If you don't have tightness in this muscle, you must be one in ten million.
